There is something magical about this Chianti manor house built during the 15th-Century. Not only does the sheer age of the property inspire a tingle of awe, but its setting amidst vineyards and hundreds of olive trees is like something out of a film.
Continuing to support the arts, its current owners are equally inspiring. You will see paintings, sculptures and art installations by the owner throughout the property — some of which can be purchased or commissioned.
Take a short walk through the grounds peppered with olive trees, past the large pool and hot tub, and you will happen upon the villa’s intimate open-air theatre surrounded by a small forest. During the warmer months, villa guests can enjoy regular opera and classical music concerts here followed by dinner. It also makes a great spot for yoga, tai-chi or meditation.
When it comes to relaxation and sharing quality time with your favourite people, you will find this Chianti villa to be an absolute treat.

The distinguishing features of this villa’s living areas are the big windows on the upper floor and an understated, minimalist style. Two lounges with soft, comfy sofas encourage you to read a book or converse with your companions while a long dining table in the spacious reception hall on the ground floor is a great place for a formal dinner.
A large, fully-equipped kitchen is set up for cooking classes, should you wish to partake, and guests can hire a chef or cook meals at their leisure.
However, despite such inviting interiors, most of your time is sure to be spent outside. A large deck with deep-cushion sofas overlooks the lawn and olive grove while an outside dining area equipped for large groups is set up on the front terrace.
Gorgeous Gardens
As the song goes (more or less), these grounds are made for walking… Besides olive trees and vineyards, you will find art installations and sculptures, a forest with a private open-air theatre and a to “dive” for pool with sun beds accompanied by a hot tub and shower room.
The grounds seem to roll on forever, and helicopters and hot-air balloons have been known to land on the fields at the bottom of the garden.
This villa makes a great venue for weddings and parties.
Bedrooms are fresh and dressed in white or cream linens which accentuate the simple, yet soothing, theme of the villa. All bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms with bidets and there is an additional half-bath on the ground floor. Bedroom 5 has a bathtub while the others have a walk-in shower.
