Romantic Beachfront Townhouse in a Quaint Algarve Village

As you might expect of a townhouse, the home is much taller than it is wide, with the first floor already one level above the street as you walk up steps to enter. Each of the 4 floors is dedicated to one experience, so that you have Bedroom 1 on the entry level, followed by the living area with open plan lounge-diner-kitchen, followed by Bedroom 2, then the sunroof terrace area on the very top floor with its sun loungers, umbrellas and al fresco dining area. 

Bedrooms allow ocean views to take precedence as glass sliding doors make you feel like you are sat on the beach even when you are inside enjoying the cool AC. 

Each bedroom suite consists of an open-plan bedroom and small living area with ocean views, accompanied by an en-suite bathroom. One bedroom is located on the first level while the second bedroom is on the middle floor.

This beachfront home overlooks the beautiful Salema beach and the Atlantic Ocean in the western Algarve. 

While shops and restaurants are an easy walk away, the main attraction is the stunning stretch of golden sand beach located just steps from the home. 

Praia Salema is a fishermen’s village that is off the usual Algarve track, like a forgotten beachfront paradise and a secret spot. How is this possible with so much building and tourism? Somehow this little gem of a locale has retained its traditional yesteryear charm and moved very slowly with the times.
