Lisbon Botanical Garden is immediately nearby, placing one of the city’s most peaceful settings within a short walk. Around Príncipe Real Garden, guests will find independent boutiques, concept stores, galleries, cafés and some of Lisbon’s most popular restaurants. Bairro Alto, the São Pedro de Alcântara viewpoint and Chiado are also within walking distance. In the opposite direction, Avenida da Liberdade leads towards Restauradores, Rossio and Baixa. Public transport connections are readily available, although a car is rarely needed for a central Lisbon stay. The journey from Lisbon Airport generally takes around 25 to 30 minutes by car, depending on traffic.
