With restoration, the home has been reborn and exudes comfortable, cool, modern interiors with lots of light, open-plan living and five-star bedroom suites. Still, with its old stone walls, the original wine-crushing wells and carefully-restored, unique features – it's easy to imagine how this property lived its former life. Space abounds at this Douro Valley rental home …where you can bask in the open interior and exterior living. The home faces the river and all rooms offer magnificent river vistas. Modern good looks have not forsaken creature comforts – you'll find plenty of deep sofas to curl up on, lots of good groupings for socializing, game tables and over-sized dining areas.

All bedroom suites are organized along the lines of a first-class hotel. Each suite has a view facing the river. Each follows the same custom design with white walls and bedding. Colour is introduced with contemporary art pieces, throws and accent pillows. All rooms offer plenty of amenities and creature comforts.
