The living areas of this contemporary home are open-plan and bright, like an urban loft. Only here, rather than cityscapes, you’ll be left in awe at the vast vistas of the rolling Douro Valley. Huge patio doors run the length of the home, opening to a lovely balcony that is primed for quiet contemplation, a glass (or two… or three) of fine Covela wine and mealtimes full of laughter. To the rear, a delightful patio provides additional private space for dining. The modern style of the home is complemented by a selection of good quality furniture and attention to detail. From the polished concrete floors, contemporary sofas, carefully-selected artworks and a sociable kitchen-diner - quality pervades. The pool area also deserves a separate mention. The views here are absolutely stunning. You will feel like you are on top of the word as the swimming pool appears to be hanging over the edge of a steep incline. Not for the faint-hearted.

Contrary to the peaceful rural setting, bedrooms have a rather contemporary, urban ambience where comfort and simplicity rules.  

All bedrooms are en-suite and enjoy access to outside spaces, furnished with comfortable beds and desks to inspire your memoirs. As with the rest of the home, photographs and artworks add flashes of colour to otherwise uncluttered rooms. En-suite bathrooms are snug yet very modern and clean. 

An additional small bedroom can be prepared with a bed upon request. This fifth room has a simple bathroom with shower and is suitable for nannies or staff.
