Larger gatherings tend to gravitate toward the outdoor dining area, ideal for alfresco evenings hosted by a private chef, framed by vineyard views and the gentle rhythm of the valley.

The house features two en-suite bedrooms with queen beds, one of them on the ground floor with direct garden access. 

A third bedroom with twin beds and a children’s room with two twin bunk beds share a bathroom with a walk-in shower and a small soaking tub, convenient for children. 

Each room reflects pared-back comfort, with original flooring and handcrafted doors that preserve the home’s rural character.

Set in the countryside of Armamar, the home is surrounded by vineyards and orchards in the heart of the Douro Valley. A short drive leads to Peso da Régua, the region’s main hub, known for its wine estates, traditional restaurants and river cruises. 

Days are well spent exploring nearby quintas, tasting celebrated Port wines, and following scenic routes through terraced hills dotted with charming villages and panoramic viewpoints.
