A house made for enjoying the natural surroundings, there are plenty of pretty places to sit, sunbathe and dine. A charming, covered pergola next to the kitchen makes an idyllic hideaway to enjoy the homemade Portuguese breakfasts whilst a covered pool terrace doubles as a sophisticated al fresco dining room under the stars with dramatic Douro River views. 

With its attractive living room fireplace, traditional style dining room and eclectic mix of furnishings and accessories, the home makes an ideal nest for year-round Douro holidaymaking. 

Spacious bedroom suites are located on two levels, all offering the same good taste and facilities. 

Bedroom on the entry level all open to the pool patio whilst upstairs rooms have narrow balconies. All have beautiful views with chairs and tables from which to enjoy some privacy or just soak up the surroundings. 

Bedroom 6 is the smallest of all but totally charming with its under-the-eaves cosiness, lovely garden views and a clever tiny bathroom with all mod cons!

BEDROOM 6 - UPSTAIRS 
Sleeps 2 – Double bed (1.40m). Small room. En-suite bathroom with rain head and handheld shower, sink, and bidet. Garden views.

Located in Alto Douro Vinhateiro region, an excellent spot at the center of the valley for enjoying the local scenery. A great base for exploring Douro valley.

• Some mobility-friendly features (accesses, spacious ground floor and adapted bedrooms and bathrooms) Bedroom 6 is very charming but smaller than the other rooms. Its bathroom has a very low and sloped ceiling. Most suitable for children.  
• Due to the sheltered location of the home, it is very hot in summer making autumn and spring the best times to visit.  
• Home spans different levels with small interior steps  
• We highly recommend the local cook who is available to make traditional northern Portuguese dishes  
• A mandatory nominal touristic tax per person per night is applicable on all reservations and paid either at check-in or check-out (please inquire for specific information) 
• The house offers a pay-as-you-go selection of local wines and produce which is a great way to sample local fare.  Equipped gym with sliding pergola ceiling, TV, impact flooring and A/C.
