Views, views and more relaxing countryside views! This charming home sits on top of a lush green hill. It’s at the highest point on the Tenuta di Murlo estate and the furthest away from the main road… this is as close to rural heaven as you’ll get! Peace, solitude, miles of countryside hikes and never-ending vistas of healthy, undulating green hills and valleys all surround you.

Although it looks old, the home was completely renovated, restored and reconstructed in 2013. It has an Old World farmhouse feel but functions with modern efficiency. With thick-beamed ceilings and bleached wood doors and cabinetry, it has a distinct air of rustic luxury. The interiors are comfortable rustic chic with overstuffed sofas, a big wooden farmhouse dining table and warm and welcoming fabrics in natural linens and cottons.

A truly perfect location for spending hours in the large pool, listening to the birdsong, marveling at the vistas, sitting with a book or enjoying the company of friends or family.

The living room is a large, welcoming room with plenty of natural light – simple in design but offering all the creature comforts and large sofas that are perfect for cuddling up with a book or watching TV.

Both the living and dining rooms are open and airy with plenty of natural light. They open to the garden and patio where a large outdoor dining table makes the ideal place to sip that sunset glass of wine, enjoy an al fresco lunch or hang by the large pool.

With countryside-perfect floral duvet covers and throw pillows, a fresh mix of antiques and rustic furniture pieces, sunny colours and old beams – the charm continues from bedroom to bedroom.

All three rooms are up a flight of stairs and all have en-suite bathrooms
